I changed my mg42's accuracy but???

The bots just shoot everybody down in one shit with the mg42. It is way to unrealistic. my mg42 gun has an #accuracy 0 but still the bots keep shooting everybody down to easy. If the answer is something with the bot's skill level, how can you change this in your script, instead of in the cosole. thank you

Set level.jvbot_skill in your script file ;)

Example:

level.jvbot_skill = 1 // easy

okay, my final question is: I want my allied bots skill = 4 and my axis bots the possible highest skill (= 4) how can I change this in script???

okay what does that mean? impossible? What I what is to have the axis skill 1 and allies skill 4 . can I do this in the script. I wish that the mg42's accuracy just worked:(

I had the same trouble, the only way I could work around it was to change the disstance of the mg.

First of all there is no support for different skill levels for allies and axis bots yet.

As for the mg accuracy I think I have found the problem. It seems due to a change I made for the bots v1.1 which allowed them to take out players leaning around a wall by shooting accurately at their heads. This kinda 'overwrites' the spread that should have resulted from the #accuracy variable :oops:

Now I am the 'henk' :( .... You should look very angry at me since I messed up. Need to fix this in the next bot version (when I find the time to finish it).
