My problem was not the brushes either...I took out almost 1000 and the error went away....I used the treeline textures for a background I had a hedge a treeline and another treeline beyond that it went almoast around my map 3 layers of them to add depth.....when I removed 80% of them the error went away......

um it said -approx is an unknown command ................crunch wrote:Is it possible that one of you with this error could try -approx 50 in your light command line?
I am curious to know 2 things....1, if this will help, and 2, if this command is supported.
If supported, It should help solve the error.

Well I have cut faces back by miles, I am even going back to daytime type lighting, I just cant win with this level, never again will I try to push the engine, lil baby sized maps for me from now on.
Btw I still no win after many overnight compiles, just to wake in morning to find the big nasty lighting error.
