Try here as it is very simple to get through. When your done there come back and we will help you.

Please don't use all caps in your posts. Adding all caps is the same as yelling and we all can hear you just fine. If you want to add caps to the first letter of every word that will be ok and looks nice, but yelling will get you nowhere.

Welcome to .map.
PM me your tips of the day.

There is also two great tuts on .map:

Basic Texturing:
http://map.moh-central.net/t.php?id=8

Advanced Texturing:
http://map.moh-central.net/t.php?id=13

I suggest you take a look at the .map tuts - they really are great (and other tuts, but .map has a great selection). There are these categorys - General, Single Player, Reference, New Mappers,Multiplayer and there is a great FAQ here.

Hope this helps!

quick way to do it, ctrl+shift+leftclick the face you want to texture. do to the tab that says "Textures" at the top and load the category you want. wait for it to load and click on the texture (bottom right) that u want to use. viola, a textured wall, yay.
