You can use Winzip, but you must first turn off "automattically install screensavers" in Winzip options. Then copy a ".pk3" and rename it ".zip".

as easy as d/l
ps7 (photo shop 7) or
psp8 (paint shop pro 8) these are perfect digital apps for your modding needs ... i prefer ps7 though .....psp8 will do ..... have fun

I think ps7 (unlike older versions) will not handle alpha channels

for the .tga file i use quick time pro, that works fine.
for the pk3 files there is a programe you can use instead of winzip.
(not sure of the name now but i'll let ya know tomorrow)
