COD Maps for mohaa?

Post by Trinitrotoluene »

Yo, are there any call of duty maps made for moh(aa)? or is somebody busy with it? I think it would be damn cool if some would make the COD maps for moh(aa), with same textures and stuff... I know its a lot of work with custom textures, just a idea...

The major problem I found when tryin the opposite (MOHAA->CoD) was that the scale of the maps are different. And re-scaling of complex brushwork is not a good idea in Radiant

So there's no chance of getting COD maps in mohaa? even with the mohaa textures? cant ppl just make small areas of the map, like splitting a map in 2 pieces and call it (example) ''Brecourt a/b'' just a idea

I think its possible, but it will involve such a load of work that it will border on making a map from scratch... and in that case I cant see the point in doing it ( exept to brag about having done it ).

it dont think it would be a waste. cod maps are far better than those in mohaa, and the editor is almost exactly the same. why not make pow camp, thats a smaller one, and it would be fun as a mohaa map. i would do it, but i suck at mapping lol.

If someone wants to compile em for me
i want to give it a trie
First i need some experience in mapping but if we set up a group or something we could do this more easily right?
and we can help each other out.
And why not make a miniature version of a COD map.or only take some of the best parts of a map and make a smaller one of that section.
I realy would like to help but i need someone to help me cause if i need to find it out myself it will take a long time.So lets put up a team shall we?

A team huh? sounds cool, i love mapping for mohaa but i havent got much time with school and my piano study. I also made a site for my mapping projects (http://www.tnt-mapping.cjb.net) If some one wants to be in my team (just came on the idea lol) just tell me, email me or add me to your msn at: janbarnas@hotmail.com.
About the mapping... i think we need to convert the maps to moh:AA, but how? I never made a map from other game(s) in radiant for moh:AA... And howabout the textures, maybe it will never look as good with moh textures as in cod... Well thats all i can think of now, thanks for the comments, cyberzomby!!!!!
