Entity 1 of type 'info_player_start' leaked

Post by jnbutler »

:x I have been trying to solve this problem for over 2 hours and can't find any help on previous posts. I have a large outside area 2048 x 2048 x 2048. I have a player start that is in this area and there are no leaks. It is not hollow, I built it with 6 brushes. When I try to build with mbuilder I get this message on the first build:

C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\main\maps>"C:\PROGRA~1\MOHAAT~1\Q3map.exe" -gamedir
C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\main\maps\bwtest.map
---- q3map ----

C:\PROGRA~1\EAGAME~1\MOHAA\main\maps>pause
Press any key to continue . . .

I have tried re-creating the player start and even made sure every brush was sealed and it still gives this message. Can anyone help?

Are you sure the info_player_start is not buried in one of the brushes did you raise it above the bottom brush a bit ? Did it make a .prt file when you compiled it ?

The player start is not in a brush. No it did not make a .prt file.
I am at a lose, I've tried everything I know.

I figured it out! For some reason there was some kind of invisable box the exact same size as the room I made. I deleted that invisable box, recompiled, and it worked. Don't know how that box got there?
Anyway this is resolved.

That happens sometimes when you use "undo".
