Small pointless question...

Is there any way to sort out the textures in the texture window such that the names of the textures arent overlapping the others....cuz i cant read the texture names therefore i cant tell which window texture is the broken one....if anyone can help me...id be greatly appreciative!!

You could make the texture scale larger in the texture window .

view -> texture window scale -> 100%
