Water problems, HELP!

I'm making a canal but my water isn't cooperating, I looked at the tut here but it doesn't help.

Should I hit ctrl F to make the water autofit?
I can walk on my water like jesus, hahahahahaha

And it has flashing lines in it?

I have made water come out ok before but no now.
can someone point me to a good tutorial or something.

i once did a map with a canal. but to tell u how i did it, i would have to open the map myself, so why don'T u do it yourself?

if u still had that map? why don't u fetch it?

I made some water on a test map 6 months ago. I no longer have
that map.

so i understood u right, but i didn't get that u didn't see the link

here it is again http://www.decalattack.com/trashbin, go on the maps page and d/l the dorf.zip. It has a canal, even with water flowing around the corners (more or less)
