Ok, here is a sad question but i want to know.
What is scripting? i am a total noob at mohradiant and stuff like that what is it? plz tell me wheather or not it is essential to map making.

Scripting is a way to control certain objects in your map real-time and allows interaction of map objects with players, like a player planting a bomb.
You can do nifty things with scripting - especially for single player maps since multiplayer scripting is very limited.
A map doesn't require scripting to work properly but it's generally a good idea to at least add a basic script for your map. It's not uncommon for DM maps to have a script that is pretty much only used to define the scoreboard image, ambient sounds and some stuff to make the map 'compatible' for roundbased games.
