You would have to at least be able to listen to and understand contempory music back in the 80's to get that one. Anyway I have been having trouble getting my guys to do say "this n that" in a multiplayer enviornment, even tho I use my altered new_generichuman.tik. I tried cascheing some of the dialouge tiks but that diddnt seam to work iether.Any ideas?

Tha ai's have $include models/human/new_generic_human.tik you know that but they also have $include models/human/animation/dialogue/generic_dialogue_US.tik
and it works the same way . It has

includes test m1l1
{
$include models/human/animation/dialogue/M1L1_dialogue_US.tik
}

so these dialog animation only work for maps that start with test or m1l1
this file also includes the generic dialog animations

There is also

$include models/human/animation/dialogue/Generic_dialogue_us_A.tik
$include models/human/animation/dialogue/Generic_dialogue_us_C.tik
$include models/human/animation/dialogue/Generic_dialogue_us_H.tik


they work like this when you have the ai say dfr_head_mandown_a it looks and finds this


dfr_head_mandown_a01 actor_panic_36_c2.skc random
{
client
{
/// MAN DOWN
first sound dfr_panic_36c_2
}
}

which is also an animation as well as a sound if it finds nothing it just plays the sound . When you edit the generic_dialogue_US.tik and change

includes test m1l1
{
$include models/human/animation/dialogue/M1L1_dialogue_US.tik
}

to just

$include models/human/animation/dialogue/M1L1_dialogue_US.tik

it enables the dialog animations just like editing the new_generic_human.tik enabled the other animaions the only thing is if for example you had an ai say "powell get down the line the captain needs you" like in omaha beach when the ai says that he will also lay down on his back .

Oh ok so i need custom generic dialog tik, cool. I need all this stuff for my coop mod.

I guess so . Also for the animations , the skc file , there are other animations called .lip files for the mouth movements . for example you have

actor_M1l1_100.skc

and

actor_M1l1_100.lip

I don't know anything about those except as you can guess they are for lips
