Our game server has been overrun by these jackasses from "Hackers-Alliance" who are not only disruptive of gameplay, but are downright rude about it. The main motto hacked into the console is "Hackers-Alliance.net owns your server". Rat bastards!
During a friendly interclan scrimmage one of these jerks butted in and proceeded to crash the server. We had to restart the server, assign a password, ban the IP, notify the offenders ISP, and it basically shot the night to hell.
Has anyone else been exposed to these guys? Their website is pretty organized and a lot of the "chief" hackers are pretty cocky about being able to hack through any "hack barriers" such as punk buster, etc.
Is there anything to do about this? We've been banning IP's to no end. It's not that I don't respect the talent to do what they do...it takes great knowledge, but man...practice your antics somewhere else....damn.
Any comments?
What's up with "Hackers-Alliance"????

report it!
Try this FBI website:

One of the choices is "Computer Intrusion/Hacking".

Their Ex members from TeamGOD. TeamGOD kicked a few members out of their clan for getting caught red handed, so they decided to form their own clan called PureMuppets (PM, you might of heard of this clan). They then turned into Pure Mayhem (PM still) and then a few members from that clan made Hackers-Alliance, which is hackers from all over into one website.
My advice to you is to not post stuff like this on any website because you are only giving the site advertisment which is what they want. They crash servers and raid ppl just to get noticed. If they are not noticed they will just fade away.

Yeah good advice - just ignore and dont show your affected by it. it's the same with all bullying tactics - dont let it affect you but if it becomes malicious tell someone - the FBI in this case if it goes too far.Coublacka wrote:My advice to you is to not post stuff like this on any website because you are only giving the site advertisment which is what they want. I just wanted to know if others were affected by these butt-holes. We have resigned to the fact that these types of people will sprout up here and there.
For those that have been exposed to folks like these....here are some tips to protect yourselves:
- report them to their ISP and let the ISP know that they are using methods that are malicious to servers. When the ISP send mommy and daddy a loss of service letter due to sonny boy providing hacking activities...I think the point will be made by dad smashing the computer over their heads....Oh, did I mention the new laws regarding hacking, etc.? Yeah, try $10,000 in fines and up to 20 years in jail! Just check out the two clowns caught spamming in Virginia in the news.
- report their webpage to the ISP that the site is providing information related to hacking, spoofing, and/or spamming.
- most membership sites like these list their members....add the names to any CI programs you are running and ban the names. When a name hits and registers as banned...log the IP and ban the IP. You can then remove the name from your ban list.
- report them to the FBI.
- password your server and release the password to trusted players and/or clans.
- install internet tracking software which tracks IP, ISP, Location, duration of contact, etc. McAffee makes some super product along these lines.
These are some protection methods, but not iron clad. We just deal with the fools now and then when they pop their heads up.
