3DStudio Max 4.2 And Mohaa

Post by InsomniaSNake_ »

I heared 3D Studio Max is the way to go for editting skeleton models and animation. Is there any tutorial on how to import the mohaa models for edit. And how to export them for use in mohaa. I've searched the forum but couldn't find anything =(

Or Maybe a Tutorial on how to export new weapons for mohaa or stuff...

I really want to learn...
thx in advance,
SNake

hmmm, if u want a free prog, use milkshape. 30 days evaluation.
use milk to import .skd/.skb, then export as .3ds. use max to import as .3ds.
exporting, just make ur model, export as .3ds, use either milk or lightray.

but if u have max, u can use it for exporting models too.

go to www.modtheater.com/forum and post ur question in modeling/skinning.

Well u made like a snowball model can't you describe in steps how you did something like that, cause that would require a 3d program as well right. Btw I have 3D Studio Max \0/

since it's a simple model, i did it in lightray3d, and used it to export as well

no, 3dsmax is much better. i use it for modelling weapons and skinning models, like planes, choppers, trucks, weapons...
i'm current doing a 3d animation project, to submit for a competition, grand prize...$3000, a bonus for a student like me

the reason why i used lightray to model the snowball, is because the snowball's easy to make, so i didn't bother to waste my effort trying to model it in max, then export, then import. just a waste of time. but i dont model weapons in lightray as i'm not as familiar with it as i am with max.

just my opinion

i export as .3ds and import in lightray, then i export. tough process though, espcially if lightray screws up ur model.
