m4rine (and tltrude aswell), i was just reading this thread five minutes ago, and i was wondering whether i should write something about me admiring ur patience.
There are so many threads about rotating doors and how to set a correct angle and/or whether or not setting alwaysaway, that i'm not sure how to add my 2 cents without starting to flame
Okay:
Where I must correct u, m4rine, is that alwaysaway=1 IS DEFAULT, so for doors with correctly set angle it is redundant.
If u wanted to get a door opening just in one direction, though, alwaysaway/0 is neccessary. In fact a door that works just one way without alwayaway/0 MUST have a bad angle.
I'm not sure whether it is clear now: Alwaysaway/1 does nothing different to no alwaysaway key. This key with value 0 just makes sense to AVOID a door opening in both directions...
About the angle (once again and again and again...). The angle u enter or choose from that group of buttons in the entity window must be perpendicular to the doorface (seen in the x-y top view).
And this is the way it is! Happy new year to all of u, btw
