lod terrain problems

:( can somone help with this problem i am trying to sink a bunker in my lod terrain well the problem is when i put the bunker in the lod terrain and then csg subtract it moh radiant closes where am i going wrong or cant you csg brushes in lod terrain does anyone know how to get around this any help would be gratefull or send me a small map so i can look how this is done....

u cant csg in lod terrain, mine does the same thing.

You can't cut LOD or patch mesh with csg. If you hold Ctrl and Shift, you can highlight one or more 512 X 512 sections of LOD. Then you can detatch and delete them. You can also delete the little triangular facets in an LOD section using the "Facet Editor" (Shift F). There is a terrain manual in the "docs" folder.

how do u detach lod terrain?

You detach by selecting individual patches useing control+shift+left click then you select detach from the lod menu .
