Frustrated Person...

OK...First Timer...I made a room...compiled, but have know idea what to put in the pk3 file, heres the things,textures, etc that are in my map...(breach):

map files:
breach.bsp
breach.vis
breach.lin

textures:
afrik_wall2FLTdrk---texture
bunk_ceiling---texture

items?:
light
bunkerchair
bunkertable
static_furniture_bunkbed
static_equipment_radio-military
static_lamp_german-lantern
tatic_lamp_chandaller
interactobject_decor_bottle-whiskey
interactobject_decor_bottle-whiskey
interactobject_decor_shotglass



I would appreciate it very much if you could take time out of your busy schedule to help a fellow MOHAA addict... :shock:

In your pk3 file, you must add at least 1 folder for your maps. As you advance, you may want to add some extra folders for your mohloading textures, the scripts, the ui and ubersound. You may only want to make a folder called "maps", and put your map files inside it.

For SP maps, just put it into the maps folder.
For DM maps, put it into maps/dm folder.
For OBJ maps, put it into maps/obj folder.

Do you have a .lin file? That's a pointfile and means you had a leak in your map, although it could be you've fixed it already. The files you need to distribute along with your map are:
  • mymap.bsp
    mymap.scr
    mymap.min
    (mymap_precache.scr)
    (mymap.pth -> only for single player maps)
Items and textures are in the original mohaa pk3s so you don't have to redistribute these.
