Which game type do you map for?

Post by m4rine »

I was just wondering which game type you mapped for - single player or multiplayer.

I map for single-player, mainly due to my lack of a decent internet connection (and the fact MoH:AA cuts me off the server i'm playing on after about 30 seconds).

Also there are hundreds (if not thousands) of multiplayer maps for MoH:AA, yet only a handful of single-player creations.

Anyway I have run a poll so, well, vote is what you do on most polls

It seems like to me that spending 100's of hours building an awsome map for single player is not worth it. because you can only play it a half dozen times before your burned on it or know where every AI is!

A multiplayer map can be used 100's of times, plus you can play with buddies and go " nice map huh!"

not necessarily. after scripting subattack, i still yet to beat it w/o god mode. lol

but if ur damn good with SP scripting, u can do all kinds of stuff, like setting difficulty level, and oh ya, random AI spawn points

Yes me too. I would love to see more SP maps. I like the challenge that mappers can give. I have become pretty good at mohaa because of the difficulty levels of some SP missions and campaigns. I too suffer from bad connection speed and SP maps are greatly appreciated.
