Prob. I need help

When I highlight the Stuff I want to "Make Detial" and go in to the 2d view and select it. My ex. house turns green and disappears and I have to "Ctrl+Z" or "edit undo" to bring to back. what is rong.

Check at the very to of the editor to see if you have detail filtered out. If you do, go to View/filters and click on "all" to turn off all filters. The filters do come in handy, but they don't turn off automattically.
