Custom Textures

Post by hogleg »

I didn't want to post this because I have seen it posted before but couldn't find it, oh well.

When using your own textures where do they go?
Does it matter if its a SP game or Obj game the folder setup?

I just don't have a clear picture of this yet.

Thx

Seeing that no one will help me I'll just keep lookin.

\main\maps\texture

Just put my custom textures in there and I will be able to see them in mohradiant and in the game,......right,

hello......is there any1 out there?

Put the textures in the textures directory in a folder of your chooseing . Then make a shader and put that in the scripts directory .

Why do u want it?
Just
- make textures,
- put those into a directory (what name is you want)
- put it into default textures directory (mohaa/main/pak2.pk3 file)
Just make LOD terrain, and add the textures to your terrain (select the 512x512 unit)
- push "s" and you 'll get surface properties panel, where u can type your texture/s name/s...

..and ta-daa :)

p.s.: ..and if u done, copy the custom texture/s to your map directory
(yourdirectoryname/textures)
:P

If you want the textures when your sending the map to someone else, dont forget to include the textures in there RIGHT paths

Like you would have it if you was doing a PK3 file, for your map > maps/dm

You would have to have your textures like this textures/mytex/thenameofthetexture.tga (or jpg)
