I think the most attractive thing about CoD from a mapper point of view is the engine, for a start. It can handle much more complex maps, settings, etc. and still crank FPS numbers that would choke Mohaa. The quality of the textures and terrain features mentioned are impossible to beat in Mohaa. The ability to design terrain and brush features to force/allow players to go prone and crawl into and out of spaces can really create some great dynamics. The scripting system, now that we've had some time to digest it, is really much more powerful.
If you look at all that's been done in the short period since release, it's easily on par with Mohaa. No one has a true SDK, no one is ever going to get one for either game. I thinkif the guys, players and mappers alike, would spend two solid weeks on CoD ONLY, the majority would never go back to Mohaa.
Now, of course, Pacific Assault is going to rock the boat again in a few months anyway....but don't count on any more toolwise than you got for AA/SH/BT. Trust me. I know these things.

CoD is a better game, but the editor is buggy. i like mohaa moding a lot more than CoD modding, and i prefer MOHAA to CoD as far as gameplay and such. The mpas for CoD are far better, but MOHAA is just more fun to mod. and sumo ur right, it really is a shame. i think he should re-releasse it (like scarface) so ppl will d/l it and stuff since the CoD craze has simmered.
