Need help with Spearhead AI

Post by Generalfeldmarschall Lars »

Whenever I try to add AI from addon>ai I get this message in that box on the bottom and then the program exits:

Code: Select all

Skeletor CacheAniSkel, anim models/human/animation/scripted/t0l0/00A001_victory.skc has wrong header ([ident.version] = [1312901971.14] should be [1312901971.13])
What does this mean and how do I fix it???
Any help would be greated apprieciated.
Another problem I get with Spearhead is that the main screen like friztes out and is all screwed up. ANyone know how to fix?

Thanks,
Lars Triver[/code]

The model animation files with Spearhead are of a newer format that mohradiant doesn't understand. While working on maps with AIs, move 'pak1.pk3' and 'pak3.pk3' out of 'MOHAA\mainta' for safe keeping. You will have 'pak3.pk3' if you have upgraded to 2.11 for Spearhead. Just remember to put them back to run Spearhead.

Not sure about your main screen. What video card are you using?

Thanks for the advice, I'm backing up the file now.

I have a NVIDIA GeForce2 MX

That's pretty good isn't it. I mean, sometimes it works, and other times its all scrambled and stuff.

Thanks for the help,

I'm attempting to map a map of Stalingrad with MP bots and I want allies to have Soviet uniforms. If I have to remove the Spearhead .pk3 s, is there a way I can bypass removing the Soviet AIs?
Also, If anyone is a good mapper and would like to help me with the Stalingrad Series, give me a holler at German5th@aol.com by the end of the month, because my email address is changing soon! I think I have some very good ideas.

Thanks,
