lol that's probably the most funny question I've heard in a while :D

Mohradiant is a map editor but you can't use it to change existing maps (bsp files) since they are in a binary format that doesn't really allow for editing anymore.

If you want more trees in stock maps, you can spawn them via the script. The trees won't come out really good though :(

Welcome to .MAP FantasyKid :D

Adding stuff to existing maps can be done, but as jv points out you need to script them in ( and you can only add, not remove ). Its done by scripting... to get an idea on scripting I suggest you take a look at the script files of the standard maps: they are named the same as the maps but end with *.SCR instead. Open them in Notepad, because its just renamed *.TXT files.

That gives me a sick idea for a stange map... trees that increase in scale while you play by continuously increasing their scale value 8-)

but how do i add stuff? I downloaded pakscape to be able to read the files but it still doesnt make sense. Do u know any website that teaches you how to plant trees in stalingrad (mohdm6) ?

And how do u change the thing that says ' <playername> has joined allies ( axis) ' ?
I want to make it say something like ' <|[BB4L][Wendy][$iT]| has joined ze Germanz'

thx wendy

About adding things: at the end of this tutorial there is a section on adding stuff via scriping: http://www.planetmedalofhonor.com/rjuka ... lak88.html

As for the text message: There are files named localisation.txt ( I think ) in the standard pk3 files. They contain all these texts. The changed file must be on the server to take effect.

Link: MOH:AA scripting language
And I also suggest to read through a lot of scripting files supplied with the sandard maps and home made maps as well.

i suppose because he learned that he cant decompile the map and add what he want then recompile it,and that he has 2 script it all .he gave up on it,cause scripting is not as easy 2 learn as mapping  .

that for sure, granted mapping does take a bit a Patience, and a clear head. while scripting takes a bit of thinking(sometimes a lot  )
