I put 3 maps up for review in the map review section about a week ago, I see other maps in there too. My point is, WHERE ARE THE REVIEWERS?.
What is the point in making a forum section that nobody even reads?.
You also have this section called New map releases, is this for maps that dont get reviewed or is the place they do get reviewed?. Some one please tell me where to post my maps, i thought i posted in the right area, but that area is like a bloody ghost town...
What's the point

Well New Map Releases is a place to either announce or show off your upcoming or completed maps in here you may get a good response from people on your map (Remember to post screenshots here or it may be overlooked) If you want an in depth look at it you can also pist it in the review section
Hope this helps

Shifty is correct here, I just want to add one thing:
Posting your map in the review section only signals that you would like to have your map reviewed. As all reviewers on .MAP are not payed and do this out of the kindness of their hearts ( this is true for everybody putting in work in the .MAP site ), they review only when they have the time, energy and inspiration to review. It may take a while... it may not happen at all.
If you feel that the review section at .MAP needs a boost: Please make your own review and submit it to one of the reviewers for verification. Because we want to have a lot of reviews... but we can't force our reviewers to produce them.
Hope that explains the use of the "new map releases" / "map review" forums.

Maby we are bad at asking for help... so let me state here:
People want 3 basic things from .MAP ( as I see it ):
1) Socializing.
2) Help with modifying MOH:AA.
3) Expose their work.
1 works fine in these forums... keep ut the good work guys, you are all great!
2 works fine in these forums, but ( in my opinion ), the site would become even more helpful with more tutorials in every field. So by all means send us your tutorials and we will gladly host them.
3 works OK. But as dodgerman points out, people seem to want their work reviewed and graded... so if you want to help reviewing: contact us!
And if anyone has any ideas on how to improve the site, tell us! Tell us now!
