like put ladders and stuff like that
Umm I'm not sure if there's any other way to but you can spawn stuff into maps with script. But not sure what things can be spawned with script. Other than that you'd have to decompile the maps from bsp form. And when you do that you'd have to completely redo the maps cause its a big mess after you decompile.
First, get yourself some wigs, so that when you start pulling out yourMarines wrote:how do i decompile?
hair trying to fix errors, you won't actually go bald.
Then, try HERE to get Scorpio's tools.
Then, good luck.
Great answer crunch
I have tried this in the past, and after about 4 hours of fixing ONE room. I gave up. Everything was a HUGE mess. (at least for me) I think you will find it best to kind of recreate your own version. There are poeple who have achieved this and done very well, but I haven't found any that will give up the secrets.
Good luck though

I think the first thing that you need to do is know how to map and you need to be insanely familiar with the map you are remaking. If you know where things are supposed to go and you know the best way to get them there it should be a snap. I would use the decompiled map more or less as a guide and replace brushes not reshape them, use filters to remove brushes from view, and once you have gotten that all done have fun removing the hundreds of little ghost brushes and fragments that are left over. To do this i made sure everything was detail at the start and made all of the new brushes structural. then when the i was done i hid all of the structural brushes and selected everything else and deleted it. Replaced functions like windows, doors, barrels and added the entities after.ziptie2k2 wrote: There are poeple who have achieved this and done very well, but I haven't found any that will give up the secrets.

I was fortunate enough to track down BadKarma and obtained his permission to release it then named him on the loading screen. I did change a few things from the original of course to enhance gameplay and make it balanced with better frames and what not. If you have any questions let me know.
