Well I had no idea it was that simple to setup an allied machine gunner, so a while ago I created a script to do it. It might help you change the machine gun's target, but unfortunatly I never really documented how the script works, only how to use it.

Hi Guys,
I like to create allied on mg42 too (it should be russian soldier with mg42), but i can't do it.
I saw lot of tut, and i saw Angex's tut too, but it was in chinesse language to me..
i'm not scripter, so, can anybody show some easy way* to create "allied on mg42"?
*: i mean to step by step tutorial, for stupids, what i'm

I never finished it, so it doesn't show how to use all of the script's features. If you look at the "test_alliedMG.scr" the only threads you need are main objective3 and objective4 you can ignore the rest. Also I've only tested it for AA so it might not be suitable for what you want.
