A running AI

How come my AI will not run when i say so
start:
self immune bash
self immune bullet
self immune fast_bullet
self immune grenade
thread stuck
wait 4
self say dfr_M1L1_101j
wait 11
// self remove
wait 2
$soldier1 lookat $soldier2
$soldier2 lookat $soldier1
$soldier1 say dfr_M3L3_310jnew
wait 3
$soldier2 say dfr_sighted_01h_187
wait 0.8
$soldier2 say dfr_sighted_01h_185
wait 3
$soldier1 say AMdfr_r_17z
$soldier1 runto $captain
end

Ok i think i found something but when i try to do this my mohaa crashes while loading the map

spawn a pathnode

if i am nog mistaking i do it like this

	local.path1.origin = ( -800 5500 -80 )
	local.path1.targetname = path1
am i missing something ?

thnx for helping me out

Info : i am currenly scripting for 20 hours non stop ( only for diner and toilet :) )

You can't spawn pathnodes, they need to be in the map as you compile.

How can i make the ai walk to an location then ?

and don't tell me it isn't possible

if it's for a stock map you can't get him to walk along a new route as pathnodes can't be spawned, otherwise if you have the .map file just add them in and name them as normal

if there are no pathnodes in the map the entity can't find it's starting position and therefore can't determine it's length to walk

if there are some in the map, are you sure there's a $captain??
hope this helps, prob not cos it's all foreign 2 me :-/

The $captain is an other AI i called like this

But if it's not possible, to bad for me then :S
