there is a way, and it has been done. download wackos ufo map, and check out his custom reflective texture. i believe its done by photo editing the texture to make it almost transparent.

have u ever succeeded in making a portal_surface do ANYTHING? I made a sky_portal surface with script_skyorigin showing the room where it was. the view though was rotated by 90? and I couldn't chnge this. also, the player was NOT shown in the mirror (so, it was only suitable for a vampire mod )
Good comment Big Head I remember making maps for shadow warrior also and created several mirrors. Can you create a camera in moh? If that is possible maybe it could be used. But then you have to project the image onto a brush. doesnt sound possible but then again I am a noob still.
strange thing is that there IS entitites portal_camera and portal_surface which would be exactly what would be used for (atleast) a camera.

On the map "saturday night fever' thay have a movie clip on a big screen. maby you can use the old Movie Projector that you see in the single player maby in a stock map 2 dont know to some how get it to play a movie or somthing.
i once had a movie playing in 'shopp'. but this was something different. the portal_camera should 'take pictures of the actual scene in the map' with players running around and stuff...
