how do i select everything in my map to make it a prefab :?: :?: :?:

all you need to do is create a brush that encases your whole map....do not hollow it out though...when you have that big box around your map go to view=>select partial tall.....that should select everything in your map

You don't even need to do that. Just make a brush from the top view above your whole map, and then right click, go to select--> Select complete tall.

Highlight the surface of the brush that you wiah to texture, and hit 's' on the keyboard, which will bring up the surface inspector menu. This allows you to scale, rotate, and resize textures as you see fit.

you should read the .map basic and advanced texturing tutorials, they will explain everything :wink:
