POW's (and saving them)

Post by ziptie2k2 »

If there is anyone who has done this, than I am sorry for redundincies. (could not find through search). I would like to have an obj. map were the allies have to rescue a group (say 10 or so) of allied POW's who are taken prisoner and are being escorted by the axis down a road or street to a determined location. The objective is for the allies obveously to kill off the axis soldiers and hold them off for a given amount of time, and for the axis soldiers to hold off the allies until they reach the location. I am completely stupid when it comes to scripting but I have the map almost completed, and would like to put this in to finish.

Anyone who helps would be a HERO to me and my LAN pals.

Thanks to anyone who helps. :D

when you say your completely stupid with scripting, how far would you go?

if i were to say as a starter -

follow_me:
for (local.i=1;local.i<=$prisoner;local.i++)
{
$prisoner[local.i].destination = parm.other
$prisoner[local.i] runto parm.other
}
end

would you understand that much?
hope this helps, prob not cos it's all foreign 2 me :-/

Nope :oops: That's alright if this is a long detailed script, than it's no big deal. :lol: It can wait a while until I get a better hook on scripting.

Thank you very much though for your input. I should never have posted this thread, as I would have to rely on whom ever does it to do everything. :cry:
