Where can I find a model of a LADDER and a PLANK OF WOOD?! I need to spawn them in an already existing map.
Does anyone know the name of the gun.. um it's usually in a window or atop a sandbag.. it's like a turret gun or something. I would like to spawn one of those also.
Help spawning stuff..

I suppose you mean a mg-42 german machinegun, spawn it like this:yuppicide wrote:Does anyone know the name of the gun.. um it's usually in a window or atop a sandbag.. it's like a turret gun or something. I would like to spawn one of those also.
local.mg = spawn statweapons/mg42_gun.tik

Yep.. thanks.. now all I need to find is a plank of wood.. nobody seems to be able to help me with this one. Like the plank of wood in MOHDM6/Stallingrad that crosses to the two buildings.

Start up a server running the map you want.. in spectate mode goto the spot you want to add in the item and look the direction you want the item pointing. Open the console with ~ and type coord. It will show you your coordinates. Those aren't going to be exact.. in the end you'll need some tweaking.
I find it all annoying/confusing a bit, but I fool around with the numbers to get them to work.
In COORD the only thing you're worried about are LOCATION and ANGLE. In LOCATION I think the first number is the length of the item.. I could be wrong, but with my own testing that's what it looks like it is to me. The second number positions the item. Making the number more negative moves it to the right, making the number more positive moves the item to the left more. The third number is the height of the item.. making the number more negative moves the item up more and making the number more positive moves the item down more. I could be wrong on these also, I'm just going off notes I wrote down, but I could be wrong. For ANGLE the second number makes the item rotate.

Thanks.. You're the first person to answer that one. Do you know how I can spawn a brush?! I'm not very advanced with all of this, so if you could show me an example of spanwing a brush and texturing it?! I'll fool around with the numbers and get it to the right size and location.
