no sound in single player

Can anyone tell me hoe to get my sound working in sp mode i can shoot,run and see everything but i can not hear any sound(yes i have got my speakers switched on)and i can hear sound when i go to the mohaa intro screen.

Instead of the method explained there, you could also prefix 'test_' to your map's (bsp) filename.
