Ladder

Alright I built a ladder up to a tower I built but the ladder wont work. I can climb up the first few rungs but no further than that. Whats the problem? I did copy it from another ladder so maybe Ill try to do aanother. Any help please???

check 2 c if the func_ladder brush is all the way 2 the top and a bit more .also check 2 c if nothin is blocking the path of the ladder (sry if the last one insults ur intelligence :wink: )

i figure out to climg it all the way but now i cant get off the ladder at the top. help please.

make sure the ladder brush is a little longer up top than the ladder so the player can get off the ladder.

headroom

You need at least 128 units of headroom from the top of the ladder to the ceiling. Also, the back of the hole must be at least 48 units from the ladder brush. And, of course, more is better for both.

If you can't make the headroom, you can always make the blocking brush a non solid script_object.

Hey i figured out the ladder, i had the ladder texture going to far over the ladder and was hitting my head on the roof of the tower. Thanks alot for the advice. You will be sure too hear from me again, in the near future.
