Detail brushes have not beeing saved
Hi I have that problem, when I save my map and reload it all the detail brushes are lost, they are simple brushes again. At the begining was no a big problem ?cause I had a little detail brushes but now I have a lot and I always have to remake em detail before saving. And when i load or open the .map again they are simple brushes again. Don?t know what to do.
Is a problem of my Radiant? Does anyone know something? I also have troubles when I want to load an .map archive that I get from the web like wacko?s trashbin or one tutorial map from t trudle.
Can anybody help me?
Thanks

I dont know how advanced you are in mapping, but have you tried filtering-detail yet? If not try clicking view_then filter_then details. This should hide all your detail brushes. And if they are still visible than I have no idea why they would return to structural. Maybe for some reason they aren't showing up as detail, but actually still are.
Just a guess

Thank you for your atention but that don?t work
Well you?re truth in one thing, I?m not very advanced in mapping hehehe, is it very noticiable?.
I tried that. I filtered it but my radient is still showing em after filtering detail.
Well I want to thank you anyway and if someone has any more idea i will be very grateful.

Detail brushes should turn green if they are actually detail, select all the brushes to be converted to detail then right click in the 2d view and go make detail. This should fix it.

That doesn?t work too
This other way of making a brush detail gives me the same problem. In the moment the brush turns green and the filter options work properly but when I close the map (saving it before, hehhee) and I open it again all the detail brushes are structural again.
Is it possible that my mohradiant is broken or something?
Well don?t know, I?m loosing my head with this heehe

Go to your miscellaneous menu, select 'colors' ==> Detail Brush, and make sure that it isn't set to red. Then try making it a different color other than the default green and see if that works.

Another question ruled out
This is neither the problem. I changed the color and the result is the same.
Thank you Axion at least I learned something new about that color changing stuff hehe.

Wow
Well I first tried to do one only brush detail and save it as you said Wacko and the result was the same again.
Then I test unchecking the use quake3 .map format or something as bdbodger said and it works, now I can save my only brush as a detail brush and reload it again then it still is a detail brush. But........ don?t we want our .map files to be a Quake3 format maps?
Well I?m only a noob but all the tuts I readed about that said to check this thing. Can I do my mohaa map that way? have I to do something moro after finishing my map to compile it or is not a matter that it isn?t a quake3 .map format map?
Thanks a lot
And well I know Wacko forgive me but sorry all of you about my Spanish guy english.
