Lod Terrain help

Post by bighoss »

I was wondering if I put a pak3 file of some lodterrain on my website if someone would dload it and do some work for me. The only reason I'm askin is that at the moment I have no software to change the lay of the terrain. Please if someone could do this for me please get back to me.

Oh and by the way sorry JV, this should probably be in the help wanted forum.

you mean .pk3? and all you would need would be the .map btw

software? you dont need any software other than radiant. see here for a LOD Terrain tut.

I was only hoping someone could use PSP or PS to edit the terrain. Because I have tried many times to do terrain by moving vertices, and it seems everytime I move the wrong one it ruins all the progress I have.

u can try moving the vertices in the 3d viewbox, just select a purple dot, and drag up.

Problem is lock vertices doesn't really work :( ... you can't move them manually but if you change a nearby vertex they won't hesitate to move along with it.
