key/value sunflarename/none is what u need.

just a question but what else is there except sun and none in the sunflare key?i mean i cant imagine how the sun could look (flare) different in any other way :?

I did read what you posted. All you said was the vague statement, "The sun blinds me when I look at it."

I gave you information that would have let you tone the color down (lowering the brightness), and enabled you to move the sun around to a position where the effect wouldn't be seen.

I'm sorry I tried to help. Next time you can just look yourself if you don't want to be specific.

@psycho, you can also try sunflarename/sunset1. it's a little darker. Or take a look yourself and maybe write a new flare: pak0.pk3/global/lensflaredefs.txt

i think, u can play with sun params... try it.. i know.. need lot of patience..

Ok I want to be more specific but I cant be. I will upload my map so you can look for yourself. Dont mention the sky, I still have to work on that one. But look at the sun and you see what I mean.
