when i make a map with lod terrian it wont complie why not ?

There yah go...maybe you should post the compile...mark and copy. Post and that will help me and whoever else know exactly what the problem is. You can also try to take all other pk3s out of your mainta folder for now and then compile. Try this, may be the problem.

Most likely the map won't compile due to too much height variation.

LOD Terrain is made up of 512x512 sections. No ONE section can have a vertex height variance of more than 511 grid.
When that occurs, your vertices that are too high/low will become yellow.

Simply move them closer to each other until they are no longer yellow, and you should be ok.

The other main reason would be if you had too much LOD in your map.

In either case, you will get an error in the initial phase of the compile telling you what the problem is.
