Thanks for all your help Bjarne, its greatly appreciated. The version on my site is the version I got from doogues' site today.

This is the info I got from crunch on the loading screen deal.
That loading screen type is very easy.
First, you want to be sure to save your images as .jpg's. If you use .tga's, the filesize will be too big.

I am assuming that you know to place your images in the textures\mohmenu\dmloading or objloading depending on game type of your map.

You then need to create your .urc file. This is the file that will "show" the "slides"

It should look like this:
yourmapname
{
nomipmaps
nopicmip
cull none
force32bit
surfaceparm nolightmap
{
animMap .4 textures/mohmenu/dmloading/yourimg.tga
}
}

The clampMap that you are used to seeing is replaced with animMap, and directly after that, the "how long should this image stay on screen" number.
You only need that once.

For multiple images, it would be (all on the same line even if this post shows it on more than one line):

animMap .4 textures/mohmenu/dmloading/myimage.tga textures/mohmenu/dmloading/mynextimage.tga
and so on.
Notice the frequency number is only needed once.
Also, be sure that there is one and only one "space" between each image's path.

Hope this real long story for a short thing helps!
Axion, did you do the original loading screen? If so maybe you would want to attack this new one. Let me know cause I could try it but I have never done loading screens yet. :oops:

Good deal doogues, have fun with it. :wink:

BTW, I think this is the greatest way to learn how to map in radiant.
every time you get the map and something has changed, you get new ideas and ways to create things, and new ideas on how mapping works, not only that but when one learns, all learn.

There should be many more community maps for EVERYONE to edit.

Plus it brings ppl together in one fun effort. :D

(I dont know if you can tell I'm enjoying this) 8-) 8-)

Well i got the loading screen working and everything...now i just need all the pictures to go in it!!!

It would be kewl if everyone could put their name of the picture like Zip did....that way we are "notified"

This project is drawing nearer and nearer to a close and its sooo exciting!!!!
