Please help me......i have read several tutorials on Pak 3...i have done them step by step and i cant seem to get it right........i send my file to other players and they cant get in my map......i dont want to throw my computer through the window....this is my first map...i have spent 4 months.....4 months .....waiting for this moment only to be the only one allowed in my map.......please please help me under stand whats going on....Step...by step please...tell me what to do....i am a noob...i hate this mapping thing...so much i never want to quit doing it.....seeking theropy because of this..........

in ur pk3 u should have a folder called maps
in this folder have another folder called dm
in this folder goes your bsp vis prt scr
sciprts go in maps -> scripts
and yea.
should be like this
You don't need to include the ".prt" and ".vis" files because they are already compiled into the ".bsp" file.
Don't name your .pk3 file "Pak3" because that name is already in use. It can have any name you want, like:
d_th.pk3
A .pk3 is like a compressed version of the main folder. It is easy enought to just put the folders in a zip file and rename it but, if you still can't get it, download "Pakscape" and it will do it all for you.
Well it will only open up a pak for you to put stuff in. You actually have to put the folders in for the bsp and scr files. By the way just makin sure he knows what you meant tltrude.
