makeing my server show on line

hello all i am running a piiii 1.6 g pentium running windows xp with the fire wall disabled internet conection is sbc dsl thru a nic card also with no fire wall at all

when i make a game i have dedicated server noth checked and the gamespy checked but my game dose not show up in either game spy or the server list in the game

people can join no problem only if i give them my ip address

can anyone help me with this problem could it be the latest patch ????/

I more thing I would try is to remove the firewall completly. I know of others that had the same prob and even though the firewall was down some how some way is was still active. When they removed the prog the server ran fine.

I was assuming this was mohaa but by that comment is this for Spearhead? If so I have not upgraded due to the prob ppl have been having.

Just add +set net_ip xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx to your server.exe shortcut, where xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx is your internet connection ip.
