mod stock maps

Post by echo_rancid »

I searched this and came up empty but I do remember seeing something about this. Anyways, what I want to do is mod a stock map, Banhof. This is only possible through scripting correct?

Scripting is by far the easiest method at your disposal. If you really want to give it a try, you can decompile the .bsp into a .map file and clean it up, but there will be so many duplicate brushes/planes and other errors that it's almost not worth your time and effort.

Is there a site that has detailed instructions on scripting for stock maps. Spawning Items and such. Thanks. Couldn't find this on .map tutorials.
