Console Door Error!?!?!? pls help

Post by fuhrer »

When i go to load my map, it stops loading instantly and gives me this error in the console...

ERROR:func_door::cross connected doors. Targetname = ???????? `7h entity 7314128 : 2nd_floor_doors

anyone know what this means????

its a lift with 2 sets of outer doors, 1st and 2nd floors.. then i have inner doors on the lift, i think but i cant remember if i copied the 2nd floor doors to make the lift ones.

im gonna try building the lift doors from scratch see if that solves anything.

Delete the doors and see if the error pops up again. If it's gone, then remake the doors. If you continue to receive it, then at least you know the problem is originating somewhere else.

lol ok i deleted the doors and debugged the triggers problems everything works sweet

so i added a door for the lift, func door opens straight up....in my script i have the door open when the trigger is called and the lift is on the right floor.

however it simply floats away....i cant describe this anybetter coz this is what it is doing, gone for good.

i have however binded the door to the lift, i cant fix this problem coz i have absolutely no idea what is happening.

:lol: :? :lol: :? :lol: :shock:

Cross connected means there is somthing wrong with the angles set for doors that touch. If your inner and outter doors touch, that could be the problem. Setting "doors don't link" may fix it.
