Get the Rouge's plugin's to purge these bad brushes. Do a search and find a download.

Once you've got the plugin file, find the directory MOHRadiant.exe is in (ie. C:/Program Files/MOHAATools/) Here make a folder called 'plugins' stick the plugin file there. Next in Radiant go to the plugins menu and you may have to hit refresh. From there goto Rouge Brush Repair > Purge Evil Poly's and Rouge Brush Repair > Remove Duplicate Planes.

Decompile

Post by tltrude »

Is the building a prefab, or from a decompiled map?

Replace the bad brushes!

Sure.

Bdbodger says to uncheck "vertex editing splits faces" under Edit > Preferences.

The missing textures might be because you removed a mod pk3 from main.

No reason to close the topic, as I still have something to add :)

First of all I think face splitting best be enabled, so you vertex editing works more like a charm 8-)

Second, I'd like to advise you, At0mic, to be very careful with both edge editing and vertex editing (I suppose you used those). It's very easy to make illegal faces with these tools unless you're really careful. For example, never draw two edges over each other and preferrably only use vertex-editing on 3 sided brushes (then you won't require any face splitting). For pretty much every brush manipulation you'd want to do, you're faster and safer off with the clipper tool (x), rather than edge or vertex editing.
