LoD from image! annoying prob!

Well, i do what the tut says and i do all that tga stuff and it doesn't work.
I even tried to upload the practice one he used for vemork approach. But nothing works. My LoD is staying flat!

Are you first creating an image from your LOD... thats the best way to get a matching size between your LOD and your TGA file... if you are using a TGA that is too big it will only use a corner of it, if its to small it will only affect a small cornar of your LOD...

alo when u secessfuly make a tga out of it the picture is too dam small for words, and for me it came out flipped 180 degrees is this normal! (i didnt follow a tut cuz im an idiot so i prolly screwed something up.)

I followed the tut, and it works perfectly every time. But you wont get any good results if you dont make a image from lod first as Bjarne says. I think it is fun also. Good luck with it, you'll get it.

ok i found the problem.

It was that i wasn't copying the original LoD image. I was making my own, which was a lot bigger. And,as Bjarne said"if it is too big it will only effect a corner.
