Invisble Brushes

hi all
i made a door frame out of brushes and then copied it and pasyed it elsewhere in my map... the first one work perfectly but the second one has invisible faces/brushes. the only thing is.... its not the whole brush or face thats see through... any ideas why this is happening or what i can do to fixx it???

please help...this is really confussing me!

Can you post some screenshots here?

Are you saying that it's only some faces that are missing?

If you use the Rouge plugin you can remove any duplicate planes and/or evil poly's. Also select the offending brush, set the grid to 1, then hit 'Ctrl+G' to snap the verticies the the grid. That always does the trick for me.

That happens when you copy and rotate or rescale brushes. Just delete them and make new ones.

It usualy happens when you free rotate a brush, you should always snap to grid after a free rotate.

ok now if someone can give me a web link to some free web space i will gladly upload screenies....but so far havent found a decent free web space

well, www.photobucket.com is a similar site that gives u the link to the picture between {img} {/img} with square brackets. all u have to do is copy paste it here :D .it also lets u upload several pics at once 8-)
