oh,i c what u mean now.
what is holding the house is the remaining beams which are still contact.and other minor areas.its supposed to be a camp sniper area

OK, I just downloaded this map and played it and it is a great map for a small number of players! Just a few things that should be fixed. The most important would be on one ladder leading down the back of the ladder has been caulked, and it sticks up above the ground and you can not see the back. There is a spot or two in the tunnels where a light is missing, I don't know if this was meant to be or not. Also you need a light in the sniper towers. I would also suggest sticking some lights inside the supports for the towers as it looks a little dark. Also I don't know if this was meant to be or not, but you can get onto the top of the fence going around one side by jumping off the ladder. You have it clipped to preventt the player from going farther and that's good. That's all that I found and other than that it looks great, good job.

darn,i should have double checked it.i did fix it b4 but i caulked it again i guess :evil: .i was so tired when i uploaded the map so i didnt even bother 2 double check it.i have also discovered a few similar caulk issues (but not this one)

y would the supports need light?i mean u cant get near them unless ur climbing the ladder,but in that case they are blocked
Also you need a light in the sniper towers
in an earlier version i did add lights .but that made the snipers on that tower very observable ,so i removed it and added fog 2 hide them abit.
Also I don't know if this was meant to be or not, but you can get onto the top of the fence going around one side by jumping off the ladder. You have it clipped to preventt the player from going farther and that's good
do u mean u can get to the other side(where the mansion is)?or u can get on the wall itself.cause i accidently jumped from the tower and got across the other side .so i added the clip brush to stop it.u can also get on the wall by climbing the crates near the destroyed room with the mg42 on top so it isnt a big deal.

he said u can get onto the fence (the wall). Although u can't get in the mansion's garden, I would recommend to find another solution, something which makes the clip brush less obvious. First thing would be to set the clip brush on top of the wall so players won'T be able to walk on the wall and wondering what makes them stop leaving it to the mansion's side. Then, for the roof of the destroyed room, u should think about either moving the whole building away from the wall or place some barbed wire or dunno what... Imho, running into a clip brush is rather annoying and should be avoided as far as possible. Same thing with the canyon's other side: Why don't u block the road as well, maybe with another burning truck? Or make a mine field?! Just don't leave an open space where players are blocked by a kind of magic force field :wink:

ah OK, a busted light I suppose.

That's a good idea, hiding the snipers.

Right you can get on top of the wall.

i did consider that but i thought it might be useful to get over the wall and fire .i would have had to put clip brushes al over the walls ,but i guess i was 2 lazy :? .

moving a "destroyed" room is alot of work.specially getting all the debris and stuff together without forgeting any pieces .so i suppose i might add rescaled small barbed wire or someting in the next version (if there was going 2 be one).

i was dying to add a minefield to the map but i l8r decided against that because it would be real annoying in such a small map.and another destroyed truck just wouldnt look normal (hence the crashed plane)
the idea of the road was to make it look funcitonal with the checkpoint and all .but i guess ur right ,it looks annoying to be clipped by a magical force .what could i add that would make the road functional and make sense that players shouldnt go there?

also ,y didnt any1 tell me these things in the beta release :evil: .i could've done it then and had a better version now.thats y i released the beta :?

i tried moving the room and it was quite easy with "select tall", I think I just had to deselect some pieces below surface and then could drag the whole bunch in one...


about not telling earlier... :oops: , I once tried to download the beta and couldn't and then I didn't try again. sorry.

well,the beta was on my account on www.walagata.com bt now the map itself has been uploaded 2 file front 8-) 8-) .i wasnt thinking of doing any adjustments to the map (2 lazy) but since martijn_NL offered to review it if it was fixed ,then i guess i will have to fix those small problems to get a review :wink: .
