Satan and Led Zeppelin?!

I couldn't believe it. No way was stairyway to Heaven have 'reverse' messages that speak of satan. i just couldnt believe it..

I thought this after listening to:

I could have sworn it was doctored.. so to make sure it was i took my version of the song, recorded in 'Sound Recorder' for windows, and went to Effects > Reverse....

Than i listened intently and VERY closely...

WAM. the site was true, it speaks of his 'sweet satan' and this and that. The above link has the lyrics to the forward and reverse part of the song.

I have always liked Led Zeppelin, but now, after hearing this... :'(

same thing as with the bible code i suppose, they must have worked on that for a long time. i know just finding the words and compiling a list would take me a long time.

', either it was a brilliant mistake or that is a good writer doing that. not good lyrics if so, but smart guy.

Wow, that's wierd. And your right its true, I did the same!

I think that is kinda cool, making a song and being able to reverse it and make it sound like words backwards...

in voice recorder say the work rocket and reverse it. if u do it right (which isnt that hard) it sunds the same forwards and backwards. and ive seen that zeplin hting b4, its crazy.

WOW, When I seen the name of this thread I was listening to that exact song, on the Led Zeppelin - How The West Was Won.

I love Led Zeppelin, I never knew they would write their songs like this.

It isnt gunna make me hate Led Zeppelin, cos I think they make great music and I think think they are fantastic. Maybe im just to young to understand how pooey it was of them to put that in one of their BEST songs.

BTW; what is the Bilbe code like? I like stuff like this.. Well I dont like it, but its intersting and makes me wounder...

ahhh, i don't believe the bible code really.

what it was was about two years ago some guy found out that if you skipped every third, then fourth, then second letter in the bible (or something like that) in the same pattern, you'd get a prophecy. there was a big news story on it and it was a hot topic for about two months. new and more impending doom fotunes started popping up and basically it renwed interest in the bible.
i never really tried it because im an aetheist and aren't interested in prophecies and all that stuff. it's a cool thing though, if you like turning stuff backwards to get a totally new meaning try that.

I read the bible code book, I was very impressed...

But then ppl discovered than you can achieve almost the same results on a dozens of other books so...

yeah, it was a pretty elaborate thing. but if you get a comlicated series of stuff like that (third, fourth, second, fifth letters) it's easy to just take the letters and make them say what you want. iv done that all the time.

I've never heard of that before. There are tons of prophecies in the Bible but like lizardkid said, you can make anything say what you want to say. Someday pretty much all of these prophecies will come true.

Anyone read the Left Behind series? A very good series worth reading if you have the time (there are 12 of them) I just recently finished the last after it came out. Although I don't believe the Rapture will actually happen because I think some guys in Scotland started that. But Christ will be coming again sometime, but as it says in the Bible, "We know not the day, nor the hour, but we know He is coming..." or something to that effect...

Ya, History Channel just had a show on the bible code yesterday or a few days ago, cant remember but it was pretty crazy! They had 9/11 (of course!) and even the spacecraft of Columbia's crash in it in 2003. Which was also weird that the arrangement was shaped like a rocket...

Heres an idea, someone right a satanic song than record it backwords and make a huge hit! hehe.. jk. but ya, I still like Led Zeppelin, i know this satanic thing was found awhile ago, but i guess i really never noticed it. I looked some stuff up on it and one of the band members lived near the Loch Ness and they were matching the lyrics in the 'stairway to hell' with his real life and how he was kinda senial... odd read.

Honestly: Lisen to the revrerse version BEFORE reading the reverse text... Yep, its all "njbefr sdf dsf dcsf fsdfsdasdf sdfsdsd d i sdf sdf". Reading the text gives your brain a context to try to make reason out of jibberish. Thus you tend to hear "Scjecktna" as "Satan" if you try to.

You guys are sooo gullible sometimes. It's so cute
