Remember when...

Post by Mulkaccino »

I was just going through old old topics and I saw this one:
viewtopic.php?t=3786&highlight=fans
...about when everyone started mapping. I was quite surprised to find out how recent most mappers are! Very cool! I've been mapping on and off forever and I wonder if there is anyone else out there like me :?: My first maps where Wolfenstein 3D where you placed the square texture blocks/objects/enemies on the set overhead grid (I still love that game). Anyone out there in the same boat as me?

I'll have to check that out jv, Duke Nukem was one of the best 2.5D games ever made  (almost 3D!) I'm sure you've got some great maps! Any jv_bots out there for DN3D???

No that not, though I modded the .con files a bit so the enforcer shoots rockets 8-) and babbles to its squad mates :D

I use to make mods for "Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines". But we couldn't make new maps--only mod the (Spanish) scripts.

some ppl here are 13 and they are mapping .mapping doesnt have 2 do with age ,and u also dont need scripting to make a proper map .however u can always ask here  .take a look at the who's the youngest mapper thread to c a sneak preview on forum members age :D

if u say u can program ,and it isnt c++ and not html what could it be ?
