Simple patch mesh

Post by martijn_NL »

I want to make a nice camo net. I made i with simple patch mesh. But now the camo net is only visible on one side. Is it possible to make a simple patch mesh visible from two sides?

By default, regardless of shader properties, a patch mesh will only have texture o one side.

But, what you can do is make the mesh, adjust it where you want it, then copy it.

Once you've copied it, with the copy selectted, go to curve--->invert.

Then you have a texture visable from both sides.
But, you've also now doubled your mesh polycount. :?

You can copy it and invert the copy. It works, but I'm not sure it is the right way... have you tried using a fence texture? That may work.

Try, while creating the mesh, change the 2D view.
