LOD?

Post by GrimReaper »

Is there a way after you hit Create from Brush to get it back to its original form?

Not if you have saved it, otherwise, just shut down the editor without saving.

Alright, my bad I worded that all wrong. Can you bring it back to original form after making it into a hill and keep the hill? Also can you make the section bigger after making it patch mesh thing

Hold Ctrl and Shift and select all the sections that make up your hill. Then go to LOD Terrain and click on "Detach Selected Patches". That will disconnect the hill from the rest and you can move it up out of the way.

To add sections, make a flat brush that is 512 by 512, and turn it into lod. You can then move it to where you want to attach it. The editor will automattically ask you if you want it connected.

BTW, there is a Terrain manual in the docs folder.
