brushes dissapearing?

Post by mike@catch22 »

Sorry for the spam lads but ive been unavoidably offline for the last three weeks and am full of questions.

I made i light and shade. took quite a while as the design is complex....well complex for me :D .When i make it detail or save it and do a quick compile the bruches dissapear. some taim the appear in the complied map but are just not the in the editor.....

Any hints on what i might be doing wrong?

filters

Look up at the very top of the editor to see if "detail" is filtered out of your view. To turn it off, go to the view menu and click on Filter > all, or just hit keys Ctrl D.

well, what u are discribing has no other explanation other than a filter problem (or i didnt understand well) .
so try turning them all on then turn the off again one by one .that shold do it (although u only need to try the detail filter on then off).
sometimes filters are somehow activated but dont display that they are on :?
