Pentium 4 vs Athlon xp

Thought since the nvidia vs ati thread was so productive, maybe I would start a processor version.

I have p4's at work, so this new pc for home that I built I went with amd athlon xp, and I like the amd much better so far. (but I have only had it a few days)

ahh,well i would love to also now some answers here also but amd isnt cheap where i live.
u forgot one more poll option "whichever is cheapest" .that is the one i'd go with cause amd is quite expensive where i live while intel is very cheap in comparison.
however i heard that amd is very good and much better against intel ,but thats not from personal experience .

Wow, that's interesting cause AMD seems to be cheaper were I live.

yeah,thats what i have heard from afew ppl over the net .maybe we are importing from the wrong middlemen
